If you do need to license proprietary data, have data needs that exceed the above thresholds, or need further customization, we’ll work with you to design an Enterprise Services solution tailored to your specific needs.

Definitions

API Requests are a measure of the level of activity. A request is defined as one query submitted to the API for data or metadata.

Service Units (SUs) are a measure of the requested volume of data. One SU is defined as one physical parameter recorded at one observing station at one point in time. For example, a query that requested the air temperature and wind speed from 4 stations at 3 points in time would return a data volume of 24 SUs (2 parameters x 4 stations x 3 points in time).

Listening Hours are a measure of the number and duration of connections. One Listening Hour is defined as one connection listening for one hour. For example, three connections listening for six hours each would equal 18 Listening Hours (3 connections x 6 hours = 18 Listening Hours).
