The certification process included assessment of our quality management system development, a management system documentation review, development of a resolution process for non-conformances, and auditor training.
SOC 2® Type 1 is an independent examination that evaluates whether an organization’s controls are suitably designed to protect customer data and systems. Synoptic’s Weather API Services were assessed against the AICPA Trust Services Criteria for Security, Availability, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, and Privacy, demonstrating our commitment to building and operating secure, reliable, and trusted data services. Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed certification designed to protect organizations against the most common cyber threats. Developed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the certification verifies that essential technical controls are in place across areas including firewalls, secure configuration, security updates, user access, and malware protection.
